Native bird picture

When I made my picture of a native Kiwi I used a big stencil for the out line then we had to put in a main colour and then all the tiny details.We also made the picture step by step.The thing I would do next time is find the right colour for the kiwi main colour .

MY AWESOME TIME AT CAMP

Jupiter

Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system.It is the fifth from the sun.Jupiter rotates the fastest then any other planet.

Jupiter's colours are orange,yellow and red and it also has a black hole.

Jupiter is not solid,its mainly made of gases and it does not have a hard surface.Jupiter's rings are to thin to be seen.

Jupiter's great red spot that's actually a raging storm has been raging for over 300 years.The storm is enough to surround 3 planets the size of Earth.It is about 1000 times bigger then earth.Four of Jupiter's moons are called LO,EUROPA,CALLISTO and GANYMEDE.

Jupiter is a gas planet and it has a black hole witch is actually a raging storm.

I completed this sheet with my ruler I used my times tables and I needed to know my clock skills but it was so easy to figer out.

Art Painting

To make our face colour we used a pitchers and water paint and only

coloured our face.

Mono-rail

On Rapare we went on something called a mono-rail.It was the scearyist thing at camp,it was like going on a roller coster .I did it with a group of people and Terry the superviser.We did it because it was one of the recration activities.Just looking at the mono-rail was freaky.

Firstly I had to carry the sled up the hill,it was so tiering.

Next you make sure you have sensible shoes.

After that you buckle yourself up and leave eveything alse up to the sled.

When you have got to the bottom you have to carry it all the back to the top.

Eventually I got to the top , but I thought to myself, I am never going to take that sled up the hill again.

I think the monorail was fun, but next time i am going to try to take my hands off the bar.

Working with clay

My piece of clay is a

flute I made a flute

to show the class.

What I learnt in Waiouru

I like making flutes

because its a skill

but if its two wet

it will slash.

To make a maori hunting

flute you have to make two pinch pots

and put them together by rubbing

your finger over the join so

the clay sticks them together.

Then put a hole in the top.

I researched  all about tsunamis.I did it all by myself.I made a tsunami poster.

The best thing I liked is the words.
